Valencia offers assistive equipment college-wide for loan to eligible students on a first-come-first-serve basis.
Please note that quantities of items available for loan are limited and issued upon availability.

Agreement

I acknowledge that the equipment I have indicated above (the 'Equipment') is being loaned to me by The District Board of Trustees of Valencia College, Florida through its Office for Students with Disabilities ('OSD') (collectively the 'College', in good working order, for my personal use on a semester-by-semester basis.
- I understand that I am required to return the Equipment to the OSD in good working order by the discussed Return Date.
- If the Equipment is not returned to the OSD by the Return Date, a hold will be placed on my grades, transcripts, and graduation (if applicable), and my access to other adaptive devices through the OSD will be denied, until the Equipment is either returned by me or the cost to replace the Equipment with comparable - in price, functionality and quality - equipment is paid by me to the College.
- If the Equipment is not returned to the OSD in good working order, I will be financially responsible for the cost of repairs to (if applicable) or replacement of the Equipment. If replacement is necessary, the Equipment will be replaced with equipment comparable in price, functionality and quality.
- By completing this Agreement, I understand that the College is not responsible for damage to and/or problems that arise with the Equipment as a result of installation or de-installation of computer software by unauthorized and/or non-College employees. Furthermore, I understand that I am financially responsible for the costs to either correct the problems, repair the damage incurred, or, if necessary, replace the Equipment with comparable - in price, functionality and quality - equipment.
